Summer Time

4 months

Hattie hates the pacifier, but loves her fingers!

Finally! One of the eclipses was visible -- we were lucky enough to see Venus!

Hattie has filled the missing piece of our puzzle, xoxo.

The back of our property.

Bug acting like a monkey.

Harrison helping with the planting of the blueberry bushes.

The past 7 weeks have flown by! I had to go back to work for 3 weeks during which time my sister (Christi) came for a week and then Grandma Jo came in for the last 2 to take care of baby girl. It went pretty smoothly, with the exception that she refuses all bottles and pacifiers! It made for long, hectic days for Mama, but we made and are very much enjoying our summer break!

During this time we purchased a new home that sits on the edge of town and comes with close to an acre...we are all loving this new home and are so very grateful to have such an amazing place to raise our precious babies. Life. Is. Good.

A visit from the Grand Hoffman's...and other happenings

Harrison was never far from Hoppi...

On the car ride back from Chico, Hoppi & Harrison took some snoozies.
The month of April started off with a visit from Grandma Jo & Hoppi. We packed in as much fun as we could with the 4 days they were with us. I will upload pics of them with Hattie (shortly) as they are on Pat's phone...the one this I dislike the most about having an iPhone is that we forget to take out the actual camera to take photos!

Grandma Jo & Hoppi gifted Harrison with his new soccer gear - he loves the gear & the game!

Harrison started playing soccer this season...we are set for our first game this Sunday - only if the snow we have had over the past 2 days melts & the sun comes out!?

I have a feeling it is going to be a cold season!

Hattie continues to grow and change with each passing day. She is an incredible sleeper and has perfected the most gorgeous smile that can light up a room & her coo's are the sweetest sounds to ones ears.

Harrison turns 5!

Harrison requested a DQ cake for his birthday...unfortunately, he did not like it.

Our happy boy!
Getting his game on.
Taking the final WHACK!
For his actual birthday celebration, his best buddy Jake came for dinner & cake.

Such a handsome boy!

......Harrison & Hattie.....

It would be a lie if I said the past eight weeks have not gone by in a haze. I was not mentally prepared for the amount of work that a newborn brings with them at their birth. It has been another learning curve for this Mama, but we finally have everything under control! Harrison continues to be the best big brother a sweet little button could have. He is eager to snuggle and contribute any way he can...almost a little to eager:)  Hattie is growing nicely, she had her 8 week check-up yesterday and is weighing 9.9 lbs & is 20.5" -- we finally have ourselves a chunky monkey! She is such a peaceful, angelic little being who is changing by the day...we truly are lucky up here in Montana!
