Whoa.

Whoa...this is how I am still feeling going into our 3rd week of school...definitely time for life to s-l-o-w down! We are kinda/sorta getting settled into our new, daily routines. Having a summer break frazzled Harrison on the whole school thing. Our mornings continue to be a tad on the sad side by saving some sniffles for when we pull into the parking lot of the school, but once I am out the door he calms down in a matter of seconds. He loves the social scene and all the lessons...once at home, he sings his songs, shows off his latest masterpiece, talks of his friends...it gives me peace knowing he is learning so much while we are away from him. I am hopeful that by the end of the month he will be "o.k." with having to go to school?!

I did not think it would be possible for Harrison to love bikes more than he did, but last month we were given a Trail-a-Bike from our great friends the Lowhams! We have been using it since returning from CO and H loves this new freedom...this weekend we rode 8 miles and he did not complain, once.

some pics from tonight's ride...before riding in wind and rain for 2 miles.

The love of climbing is quickly grabbing hold of H! I see a pattern, do you?
They have been climbing here for a few months...Harrison is asking if I am getting nervous watching him...
H's favorite, jumping down!

Cold and wet, but still no complaining...he is tough [like the Incredible Hulk]!

"Monkey see, monkey do", or "Like father, like son". Whichever, I love that he tries things and has no fear! I do shutter a little thinking about him at 15! Great pictures and I just want to climb in the computer and be transported to Montana so I can give H. a big hug and smooch.
Love,
GMJo

I always thought those trailing bikes looked so fun...
Glad he is getting along well at school. We're just now starting to hear a few grumbles in the morning... Hopefully they won't last.

Rock climber extraordinare! I think it is so cute he stopped to ask if he were making you nervous... I can totally hear his little voice, with a slight smirk on his face - hilarious! Love you, H! Rock on!
