Merry Christmas!

We arrived in Iowa just in time for the winter storm of '09. We were relieved to have dry roads, a small boy who has become an excellent traveler and a BaBa in the car to help entertain. It felt good to arrive and have a number of day to spend time with family...sans Babi & Bumper, who we all missed terribly.

I love these two shots--they were taken the day after Christmas. Hoppi & Grandma Jo wanted a portrait with the grands...unfortunately the kids had other things in mind. We all tried our hardest to get smiles from all. Kids.

The end result.

A Garst family tradition is to make homemade egg noodles & gravy for Christmas Dinner. This year was the year for Harrison to join in this activity...I loved it! He had such a great time being mama's helper.

Love this posting and I am so glad you posted the uncooperative photo sitting! Also, happy to see the pictures of Harrison helping you make the noodles. He was a helper and such a fun one the entire time you were here. It seems like a dream that came and went so fast, but the memories will remain forever. Miss you, love you and Happy New Year!
