Georgetown Lake - Discovery, MT

Kootenai Forest Fire (view from our tent)
We thought we better take advantage of another nice weekend and go camping. It was our first, sleep-in-a-tent adventure with Harrison and he rose to the challenge like the fabulous 2.5 yr old he is. We only wished we would have done this sooner than now. Although, way-back-when, we would not have enjoyed ourselves quite so much.
Harrison had a blast being outside for 24 hours...he played until his hands and face were no longer their normal color and practiced his crashes well into the night. We had a great time and are hoping to get out a few more times before the snow flies.

I wish I knew what he was thinking while lying there in the grass!

I wondered the same thing, Christi. I also think that Harrison is the luckiest kid with all the places he gets to go and all the things he gets to do and all the people he gets to meet. Sure beats sitting in front of a TV. I also laugh out loud with the Patrick, Matt laughing shot. How many times have I seen those two crack up like that,it brought back memories. Great pictures once again.
Love,

The grass shots were taken while he was practicing his crashes. He kept rolling down the embankment and climbing back out. He thinks he is the best at crashes, when I went to pick him up from school the other day, I arrived to him leading a pack of kids down the hill where he promptly stopped and rolled with 4 others following suit.
