Whiskey River

As a fairwell to summer, Pat and I found it fitting that we all go to Willie Nelson in Red Lodge. Pat saw Willie as a little boy at Farm Aide and so it was only fitting that Harrison's first concert be Willie 17 years later...I was very nervous as to how this night would "pan" out with Bug but in the end it was fabulous! We arrived an hour before the show started, found a perfect spot in the middle of "general admission" where over the course of that hour many friends found us and we created an "island" for our kids to dance, play and sleep.

We ran into our dear friend Kate; it is always great to see old friends whom you love o'so much!
Kane and Colter enjoying the music...Willie serenade this little sweetie into a sleeping coma not long after dark.
This is definitely a first--Harrison, chilling, in-and-out of sleep for the last hour of the show! He danced out-of-control for the first hour. Everyone around us was laughing and dancing with him...it was something we should have caught on video...next time!

The three of you "are always on my mind" (my favorite by Willie). Looks like a blast and great photos. What I wouldn't give to see Harrison dancing to the music.

Have a great first week back to school.
Love,
