Our good friends Sarah, Jason, and Reese came to Bozeman for a long visit. While they were here we were all able to get together with friends we hadn't seen for a while, celebrate my 33rd birthday, get outside for lots of walks, short hikes, and the papas were even able to sneak in some climbing and golfing. Harrison and Reese loved playing with each other and we will miss her when they leave in the morning.
Harrison took a fall one night after dinner and hit his head on the trim...a large goose egg formed in a matter of seconds and after minimal tears from both of us and a call into the ER we learned that the forehead is the thickest part of the skull and that the goose egg formed so fast because he had broken a blood vessel. It is hard to notice in this photo but 12 hrs. after the first injury Harrison received another large goose egg about 1/2" from the first after being taken out by a hug & kiss in which Reese also landed on top of him as his head hit a small rock...ouch! I am amazed and scared at how tough this little guy is; both times tears did not last more than a minute. I have one question though, would it be o.k. to have him wear a helmet at all times from this point on?

I asked that same question while raising Patrick! We made many a trip to the ER and one time returned with stitches. Happy to know Harrison is okay the pictures look like you all had a blast.
I would say Helmet, shoulder, knee, body PADS!!!! Grama G. can't take all these bodily injuries,,,She had girls...I am trying not to be alarmed with each and every new BUMP...Harrison slow down, you are making grama gray headed...Glad you all had a nice visit.. Love to all Grama G.
